    Default Need some help Please

I need some help. Someone gave my some fabric some time ago. And I would love to make a fall quilt with it. but it does not speak to me. It needs something to make it pop. Can anyone help me here. And I need help with a pattern too. Thanks. The green is a moss olive green and is hard to match.

I wonder if you could try to find a match for the orangy-red in the leaves. Or maybe just find a rich rusty brown to pull it together.

These all read as lights and are all small prints-- they need a mix of mediums and darks to make them pop. It also calls for some large prints and/or tone on tones. Take them with you to a quilt shop and start pulling fabrics -- you will be surprised at what will call you.

Those are some beautiful fabrics....i would say that you could definitely find some different shades of gold and rust/orange that would pull out those colors in the pieces and give it some pop. Not sure i would mix in the one with the graph paper type grid...the others are all "organic" and it seems a little out of place. Not sure either about pattern - but what if you thought of those more as the background fabrics for say the Maple Leaf pattern...or Bear Paw using the colors above.
Good luck.... please post a photo when you finally decide what to make.

Definitely needs more color! I agree with the others; find some russet colors from the prints and bring those in.

I would see how these look with some browns and yellows.

I don't think you need to use all of them in the same project - they are all too much alike (my opinion of course)

This is a free pattern on Craftsy. If you could just add one more med or dark solid or tone on tone it may work for you. Not sure how much you have of each fabric and if you like rail fences but this is a nice one in my opinion.
