I have been working on preparing my extra blocks in preparation of receiving my swap blocks. I am just barely waiting patiently for these. lol, I LOVE Halloween. I'm glad we had such a wonderful turn out. There are such fun blocks being shown.

I showed these before when they were just fused down. Now here they are with the detail added. The tomb stones are new. I googled humerous headstone sayings. I can't take credit for the phrases. But, I will enjoy seeing them in my quilt. I just have the skeleton left to sew down. I picked up some glow in the dark thread today to do that. Thank goodness for coupons. I had NO idea that a small spool, 100 yds., was 6.49 (regular price). Yikes, a bit of sticker shock. So, I truly hope it glows!

How utterly darling Judith! I love Halloween too and always make sure my little trick or treater's get special little toys and candy in a fun paper bag each year. Sometimes they are so surprised to get such a nice bag, they really giggle and say thank you over and over. Hubby craves the pumpkin and does such a great job of it. One year when he made an exceptionally spooky one, a child said, "You are a mean man!", and cried. Needless to say, he didn't do that again. LOL!

I just ordered this booklet from connecting threads yesterday. They have all the books on sale now, so it was a deal I couldn't pass up.

Red I am thinking about participating in this Halloween block exchange. When you say: 6 sets, does that mean 6 blocks of each design or just 6 different blocks? I am new at doing an exchange. Thank you for your help.

I am sorry the deadline was on august 30th to sign up for the Halloween swap. But, we have a winter holiday swap that you could still sign in on here on the swap board.

The rules for the winter swap is the very first post on the thread. But, that swap we changed to only 4 blocks. You make four of the same block for a set.

Judith I just love your blocks. I might have to do some different ones to put in my quilt also. Thanks for the ideas.

They look great Judith1005. I've made a couple new ones for myself, too. Working on two table runners now for the quilt shop to display.

Looks like a great booklet RedGarnet222.

Too bad the timing wasn't right KARENBOUTQUILTIN. I hope you get your feet wet with the winter swap then join here next year.
