I'm pming you now. I'll sign up for 12 sets. Need to go through and see how much I have for for the twist. I'll let you know on that one.

YAY! I'm excited. Soon I will have enough for a postage stamp quilt. And then I can check off an item on my bucket list!

In the earlier swap thread MarthaT had linked this quilt:

http://weddingdressblue.wordpress.co...-up-odd-quilt/

I thought it was a great way to use up scraps so I worked in EQ and came up with this version

http://www.quiltingboard.com/member-...t250348-2.html

See post 76.

This morning I have all the inner borders together--putting a gold cornerstone. Right now measures +72" square--plan on adding cream/gold borders. My GD (11yo) likes it so it will be gifted to her--going to put a flannel backing on it for her. This one takes over 1500 2" squares...

That is one stunning scrappy, Oksewglad! LOVE the navy sashings with gold cornerstones. It gives some order and pattern amidst all the 'random'. Might have to try one like that!

Are we including a self addressed priority-mail envelope in with our fabric squares?
Also, which type of envelope/box are people using to send their squares? Is one type better than another?

Mine are all set and ready to bring to the post office on Monday!

You don't need to send me an envelope... I'll get the padded priority envelopes from the P.O. and will generate the shipping labels online. The price for shipping from the P.O. has gone up, but the online price is still the same. (Yay!)

I'm getting all kinds of packaging coming in from people... a lot of you send first class, but once you add the tracking number it's almost the same price as priority, and lots less reliable. If you opt to use the paper flat rate envelopes, please be sure to TAPE IT ALL OVER, especially reinforcing the edges and seams. Those things tear open so easily.

Good morning! It's the 15th so our sign ups are officially closed! Now we need to get that cutting done and be sure you have your swaps to me by the 30th. As soon as I have them all I will start swapping....
