Our 7th Mystery Quilt Train Ride -- Whoo Hoo

Siodoch, RE: "For the adventurous, I've brought some haggis, neeps and totties with whisky sauce for the buffet car - goes great with oatcakes.....Cheers, Kate" I'll give them a try Kate, but I have no idea what I would be eating. Do I want to know? LOL Big day for your country tomorrow. No politics here, just news. (If I have it right.)
Moonrise, RE: your picture that didn't show up here but showed up on your phone, and then later did show up here. I save pictures as we go so I can look at them later, but yours won't save. Very odd. But..Love your fabric. That will be beautiful.
Emma, you still need an "A". Only 16" of that is the border. Sooo pretty!
The variety of teals will be really fun, Cindy.

Here are mine, and all from my stash. I had them and a few more small pieces to make a jelly roll race quilt with but I'll like this better. Just wish I had gotten a few larger cuts.
My 1st choice is the back row and alternates are on top. I thought about switching the red & yellow. What do you think?

Good morning, all. I see we have some new gals joining the ride. hooray!
lynnie, Your lobsters are small enough
Florence - looks good to me. And to you and others not getting notified, I have no clue. Another Gremlin in the machine.
Siodach - either one is nice. But show us what you decide on for final choices, we'd like to see them.
moonrise -- looks great!!!
Cindy -- very pretty. Love monochromatic.
Nancid - you're never too late to join this train! And this is a guaranteed safe ride.
Oksew- yes, as the new pix shows, it will look nicer. Hope you agree at the end of the ride
JeanieG - very nice -- keep that A-E left ot right order you are showing
Ann --you asked about the print -- it depends on the scale. I'm trying to guide without giving away.
Which brings up another point -- ocassionally I send a PM to you -- it means what it stand for: PRIVATE message. If I do send a PM, please don'ttcomment on it, on the board. Hope I don't sound rude, don't mean to. And don't mean to offend anyone.
Evie - a few inches meant maybe 3 to 5 inches. A yard of your E will give you enough for one portion of the quilt. perhaps you have some extra from another color left over, or you could even add a 6th color -- it will be at the end and you can decide then. Don't worry about it, it will all come out fine.
sunlite - oh you optomist, you!
MimiK - love polka dots, and this will be a fun quilt. Top row looks good but maybe you could switch C and D?
So, I am off to my quilting club, then lunch with a friend. Will pop back in the afternoon. See you later.

So here is I'm thinking of using. Any order is OK except the green has to be C due to yardage. Wish I had a stronger print in there but maybe the neon colors will make up for that. The turquoise is darker than the picture shows.

whitepine, very nice colors.
Judy, thnks for getting back to me and all of us. I feel
more comfortable with my choices now, and I think we all
are now. we can settle into that club car now and enjoy
the ride untill we get the next clue and all the yummies in the car.
Thanks Judy.

So -- like all smart quilters, I went back to my initial selections and measured twice. Well, dang it, a couple of the fabrics did not measure up to Judy's suggestions. I do not like not having some additional wiggle room (I know me too well!), so I went back to my stash to see what else I had. Here are my second choices:
