    Congratulatios and welcome to a fun new hobby! Be sure to read read read about safe cleaning methods so you don't ruin those lovely decals! You found a fantastic bargain!

    Congrats on finding such a beautiful sewing machine. Word of warning though, vintage sewing machines are like chocolate, you can't have just one.

    My mother had a cabinet like yours, but the machine didn't have as many decals on it. My dad bought it in the mid-40s for her, but I have no idea the age of it. When she died, I let my sister keep it. I have asked her to send me the serial number, but so far she hasn't. I would love to find a cabinet like that one. If it has a machine in it, all the better.
