That thread is great. It get's me excited about putting a top on the frame I have. The treadle wheel looks just like yours and measures 16 1/2" in diameter. The frame was rusty so I had it sandblasted and powder coated. A lot of the smaller parts I sent thru a vibratory finisher at my workplace and they cleaned up like new. They have been primed and repainted to match the black powder coat. The treadle is off-set from the drive wheel and the frame appears to be 4-5" longer than the home frames that I have seen. It is not a lot wider maybe only an inch or so.

As a side note a few years back I visited Niagara North Dakota and visited their tiny museum. The guide was a man in his 80's and after a lively discussion I learned that his mother worked as a seamstress for my grandfather sewing the material for the airplane wings.

a_bluescat, ISMACS has an entry under Class 31 Singer for your table. Its listed as Singer Table # 5231
Also there is one on fleabay titled "1928 Singer Model 31 Tailor Sewing Machine ....". He lists the dimensions
as:38" x 19" folded down, 47-1/2 x 25" both sides up.
These dimensions match a table I have but I am missing the left leaf.

Lee Copp has some pictures of a restored one with coffin top here:
https://sites.google.com/site/oldiro...k33-industrial

The rear leaf has a complex hinge system that lets the leaf slide sideways to line up
with the left leaf when both are up. SteveH has a good picture of it in his thread.

I didn't interpret that at all....just that he would supply him with measurements so he could fabricate one. Sounds like the police to me.
