auntjo, I love the pic in the other thread; the quilt fits so nicely on the bed. Make sure you all go to thread to see it.
I finally finished this 4 yo WIP--here's the start
http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...lt-t73694.html
And here's the finish. I MQ straight lines through the white squares onto the border with a variegated pastel thread. This goes to my 5 yo GD for Christmas--think she'll love it. Now to make a matching pillowcase from the leftovers.
And the back that slowed the process down

Sorry about that--I used the icon in the reply dialog box. To avoid a double posting of pictures I then went to Go Advanced and deleted the pics from the Manage attachments. I can see them in my post, but guess you guys can't so will re send. From now on I won't use the image icon in the dialog box, but upload from Manage Attachments.

Very nice, ok. Your DG is going to love that one. How big is it? .... for her bed?

Thanks, nanna. It's 48 x 72 so it will just fit on her bed.

Totals for September: we had five completed UFO's, bringing our total up to 209! September was the month for vacations, getting homesteads ready for winter, etc. I think from now to the end of the year we are really going to be working away!
Jwardknits - your Christmas tree was lovely.
Lilrain - beautiful butterfly quilt. The fabrics worked so well together.
Auntjo - STUNNING quilt! I really admire that it's going to be a gift for someone. I don't think I'd be able to give it up!
oksewglad - I love your 9-patch quilt. the colors you have used make it beautifully retro!

I'll be back at the winter house soon.... so I can finish my last UFO. I can still pop in and cheer you all on, can't I? I really hope I don't start piling up the UFOs again.
