    Default Giant Dahlia pattern

Been searching for free Giant Dahlia quilt pattern but haven't had any results. Would anyone happen to have a site marked for one? Thanks for helping.

My Mother made this for my husband and I Christmas just before our 25th wedding anniversary. She's now gone so this is special to both of us. We use it once in a while. She did it in blue and pink prints. With off white and had quilted by another lady. The sad thing is I have no date on either this quilt or her first quilt. Be sure to label all quilts, it may mnot mean anything to you but it will to someone later.

What a treasure you have! Could she have made it around 1990? In 1991 I made a blue and pink one- as pink and blue country colors were beginning to go out of style.

Thank you for the pattern. Looks like it could be a real challenge but very pretty when finished.

That is a beautiful quilt! It's way over my head but I sure enjoyed seeing it.

I think marti michell (sp?) has/had templates for this very complicated pattern.....I was just "cleaning" some of my templates and found sharlene jorgensen's---quilting from the heartland--templates and book of directions among my templates.....hers is for blocks of smaller ones, whereas marti's are for a giant bed size dahlia---I think..

The one I have is from Plum Creek, probably the same one as the link above. I haven't made it yet.

I have made this quilt several years ago and have it on my bed right now. I used Marti Michell's pattern and if you mark the pieces the way she tells you at the 1/4 " markings it goes together very nice.
