    Default Which accent color?

For Christmas, I'm making a surprise jelly roll lap quilt for my grandson's girlfriend (college age) who will be visiting us from out of state. Her favorite color is teal. I want to use 2.5" accent squares between each jelly roll strip and can't decide between a medium purple and a fuschia shade. To me, the fuschia gives more of a pop. Just taking a vote here. THX for your input!

No photos, just in my head so far. I do have my assortment of teal values cut into strips.

Purple and teal always go well together but if the value and intensity of the purple is too close to the teal the fuchsia will certainly pop more. And a little pop always makes a more cheerful quilt in my opinion.

If the purple and fuschia look nice together, use both? Especially if you are using several shades of teal?

Teal comes in so many different shades/colours/tones.

How be you show us your assortment of strips.

You could use an assortment of different in between squares .... or find a print or batik that has many different colours in it to cut up.

Another possibility that goes with some of the teals nicely that I have used before ..... a terra cotta peachy colour.

Working with lots of college age brides, orange or coral and teal are a really popular color choice. After that I see fuchsia, red, bright green, yellow, and purple -- teal is popular. If you google color pallets you'll see alot of interesting ideas -- like "teal fushia color pallet"
