Hello!
We had a nice weekend with beautiful weather. We even got to explore at one of my favorite state parks & had about an hour-long show from the resident bald eagles. Wow! It was really something. My daughter's leg is essentially unchanged; however, it is not getting worse & there are no blood clots or fractures. I'm doing some things here at home that may help to move the fluid out of her lower leg. If that does not work, we may have to consider lymphedema therapy.

The unveiling: what a lovely fall package from Pat. Thank you very much! I just love that pincushion. I have not done any wool work & I just love it. I love pumpkins - your scene is really nice & your embroidery is perfect. I got some beautiful pins & some of those cutie acorns. Those are super-fun. All different fabrics, too! Did you know that I live in Fox Township? The fox hotpad is great! I just love collecting home made hot pads. Were you creeping on my profile?! The chocolate has hit the spot during some stressful days. Also, a fall-colored notebook & I can always use those. You spoiled me with a lovely box!

I've been watching for the annual Christmas ornament swap & it is finally up. There is a small window for sign-ups: We need to be signed-up by the 19th of October. I just love that swap & look forward to it each year. I would be really disappointed if I missed the sign-ups, so I thought I'd share the deadline here for you girls, too.

Such cut Halloween PC and NC being sent out this month.....November and Dec ought to be just as much fun!!!! I rec"d two and gave one to my sister who loves to embroider and is fighting cancer This perked her up some. :-)

I totally thought those were the most enormous acorns I'd ever seen. I love that the base is real acorn!

My PC are done, just gathering other goodies to put in the box. You ladies have intimidated me completely, and I feel like everything I've made is just not up to the standards of this group! YIKES!

I'm hoping to hang around and continue to swap and expand my horizons.
