I too would be very interested is finding this pattern, I am thinking that this is "MY" bed quilt pattern, just love the 3d effect

I would also call it a log cabin tumbling blocks.
If I were to make a quilt like this I would use Kaye Woods view and do diamond template. http://www.kayewood.com/item/Diamond...ne_Pattern/251. She has videos that show how to use the VAD's and how to set blocks into Y seams. The template is on sale for $12 videos are free online. Personally, I like optical illusion quilts.

I finally got an answer, they purchased the quilt at a sale, they do not know the source of the quilt.
