Great job! I've always been a huge proponent of going up with my storage. Ever since we lived in a townhouse and I sewed in the tiny breakfast nook (think big closet). I still put shelves on my walls from about 5 ft off the floor to the ceiling on at least 2 walls. It keeps everything up and out of the way and it's otherwise unused space. I just put things I use the most on the lower shelves and things I seldom use on the upper ones.

This is on my agenda too, as soon as I get flooring down. Went to wally world yesterday and bought two 4drawer heavy plastic dressers, where my scraps are going, fat quarters, and non printed fabric and then I can get of some bins. Major overhaul coming up.

Thanks! I love the pegboard...I was too tired of making things to deal with making a pegboard (they only sell it in 4x8 sheets so it would involve having more than I wanted, too) so I bought a plastic one that's super light, the pegs are very secure and they sell a variety of sizes and shapes. I am very happy with it.

You did a great job transforming your room. You have some good ideas on how you decided what to purge. Sometimes we keep things because we've always had them! I would like to get my stash whittled down to one dresser full!

Where did you get the chair cover? I have a chair I love but don't love the fabric color.

I know the helpers were there to okay the set-up. They seem happy with it all. Very nice, what you've done. I need to go take a look at mine. LOL

Its a Sure Fit stretch made for a wing chair. The chair is more upholstered than yours, and its a faded, tufted green. You could probably wrap the armrests in batting or something though...

Mine was not that expensive, I think I bought it at Tuesday Morning or some place like that. Its plain, stretchy twill.

It was my Grandmas chair and its hard for me to let go of it even though I don't need it and its pretty hideous.

I hope to make a crazy quilt slipcover for it someday just for fun.
