Since your asking....why does it have to have sashing? I'd just forgo the sashing and sew the blocks together.

I love the energy that the blue gives the quilt. The black really subdues your amazing blocks.

I like the black. It is simple and straight forward and frames just about anything well.

Thanks so much for all of your input. You gave me good reasons for each color. I'll probably cut the sashing tomorrow, that gives me another 24 hours to read over your comments.

I will certainly post a picture when I get the top done.

I AGREE with everyone. I like the black and the blue. And maybe a batik gray.

Black gives it a slight illusion! Makes the colors pop!
