I've been to three of them now. Love it, love it, love it!! I get soooo much accomplished, with no kids interrupting me. You are probably used to having peace and quiet...I've got an 11 yo girl and a 7 yo son, so they occupy quite a bit of my time! Along with work! Anyway, I plan to be at the sew every month, so if you want to go, let me know and I'll hold a spot at my table for you...or vice versa if you get there first!!

esqmommy, I can see why you like getting away one evening a month. My grandkids are 8 and 10 and they wear me out. The sew evening sounds fun. I've got the dates now, so I'll let you know which one I can make. Probably February the way it looks now, but I'll keep in touch.

I've been spending time perusing the messages and photos on this board. I think I'm going to like it here. Thanks for the warm welcome.

I was happy to see so many of you working on Quilts for Kids quilts. I sent my first two back just before Christmas and have ordered another kit. I'm cutting fabric today for more companion quilts to send in with the next one.

Happy New Year all of you. Back to work tomorrow.

Greetings from outside Sacramento. Gee, with all the NorCal gals here, we should plan a get-together or maybe meet at a quilt show.

There's an Amish Exhibit in SF. Don't know the details but I can check.
