My husband and brother in law went with me and 2 sisters. Had a great time. Now my husband is wanting to quilt on my new Tin Lizzie that will be set up Thursday! Great time and plan on going next year and making it a sisters' weekend and my brother.

OMG - that picture almost made me spit out my hot chocolate onto the computer screen!!! I love it. My DH ALWAYS comes with me and our youngest DD to the Paducah Quilt Show and he loves to go and "people watch". I asked him what he thought was the average age of the quilters at the Quilt Show and he said "72 and they are all from Iowa". Yes, most of the quilters had on name tags with their names and states on it - but I did not remember seeing any women from Iowa. So, I said "Iowa?????" and he said "yes because they are all CORN FED". We are farmers and our cars are very "plump" from being CORN FED. SO, he was saying that most quilters were a little on the plump side - LOL
