    Love your quilt! where did you get the pattern? That would make a beautiful shower curtain in a tropical theme bathroom. I do stained glass work and have four windows done with toucans parrots and macaws.

    They are a raw edge applique Caspharm, they are around 34" long.

    Jean...I usually browse through google images for the pictures that I want to make a pattern from. I make alot of parrot applique quilts as there are none on the market. This customer only wanted 2 Hyacinth's with all white fabric, but I talked her into a tiny bit of raspberry & blue batik's in there. When I had found this picture, I realized that it was almost identical to one I had done last year which actually was a tile art, it was just missing the 3rd bird!

    I love it. Raised parrots for 22 years. Had several pairs of Macaws but not the Hyacinth. They are the most elegant parrots. Good job.
