Default My Spiderweb in Backyard Colors

This will be a Christmas gift for my mom. She loves this palette of colors, but they are outside my comfort zone. I kept myself on track by going into my backyard to look at the colors of nature: trees, grass, leaves, the occasional lily or marigold, etc.

Thanks to those who encouraged me when I posted this in progress.

She will love it. Wasn't it fun to make. I made one for my son with the background fabric a black with confetti spots. I made it for his 40th birthday. Fun and colorful. Thanks for sharing.

I love the difference in the color of this one! It really is "backyard colors"!

It finished up wonderfully and I especially like the gold binding next to the green outer border. It really pulls this great scrappy quilt all together.
