interesting...bet it would, with lots of contrast and design interest .... browns can range from almost a rust color to almost black and tans have golden hints or almost pumpkin and every greenish tinge.

my scarps are so varied. I don't have typical scraps, being the colors all of you have. I have wild and kiddie prints and bold colors. i'll have to buy light neutrals, like whites and off whites. don't have many of those.

Pecan nuts cost about £7.00 a pound here….US$11
They don't grow here and we have to import them. Walnuts are more expensive but we use more of those since our recipes have used them for centuries.
Petrol (gasoline, unleaded) is dropping in price here just now it cost me £1.18 a litre last week. That works out at US$7.50 for a USA gallon.
And a scrappy quilt would be brilliant to use up so many bits and pieces that I don't have the heart to throw away.
