That would work for my tea but I use a contigo travel mug that will not spill and keeps hot stuff hot for about 6 hours and cold, cold for 12 hours. If it fits it sips....

I too always had that problem with my coffee and I now put it in a travel mug and it stays the right temp for hours and it fits in the holder nicely which I have one similar and have it next to my machine clamped to the table. I have had mine for several years so have had to replace the bag .

This works great with Tervis Cups, that have handles attached, they also have a lid so nothing goes in the cup, I LOVE mine.

I do the same a capped bottle of Tea or Diet Pepsi because if anyone will be spilling something it would be ME of course lol

Interesting idea, but, I have a rule that I don't take liquids or food in my sewing room. I don't take any chances with my quilting treasures. But, that's my rule.

I love hot tea and keep a mug warmer behind my sewing chair on a table. I have a floor lamp next to it. I don't turn off that lamp until my tea warmer AND my iron is turned off!

Wy didn't we think of that! It looks like a great thing. I keep a bottle of water by my side with the top on.
