Drunkard's Path, hand's down. With more than 80 different variations in arrangement before even factoring in color variations, I can't think of a more versatile block.

Log cabin. It's always been my favorite.
I like how chains look too.

I've always wanted to do a Buckeye Beauty.

I'm not sure I have a favorite!! But when I'm looking for a nice, easy block, I do a Friendship Star! :D

Wow Crystal, any colors in mind for your king size log cabin. That is my friends favorite pattern.

I think mine is the lamoyne star, though I like a lot more, it's just easier to make some more than others.

I like the bear paw. Of course I call it the dog paw.
I also like alot of different star patterns. Hole in the barn door is also a favorite and and and. Ha. Depends on what mood I'm in I guess. Oh the snails trail which I have not done yet but its moving up on my list too.

I am also a fan of Log Cabin. I made a quilt 2 yrs. ago that had the center piece with pictures of Civil War Pictures, and the Gettysburg Address. I made it for my husband's b.day, and have received lots of compliments on it.
I also like Irish Chain. I watched my mom make this quilt when I was growing up. I liked the idea of the chain piecing, ect,. I am going to make one as soon as some of the other projects get completed.
I am also a believer in big blocks and some of the "ol favorites!"
