Macka: Every time I hear about the prices of fabric in Australia and Europe I shudder. I think if I had to pay those prices I either wouldn't quilt or I would only work on one quilt at a time. The upside; I wouldn't have any UFO's. Is there a way you could order from the state?

Shipping prices are horrendous. I paid $81 each to send pkgs to my kids in Korea and France. I can't imagine adding that onto the price of fabric.

Finally! Here's my finished Mystery Train #7. The picture is a little fuzzy but you get the idea.

PS - those are BH's Grand Illusion mystery pieces sitting on the right.

VERY pretty mix of colors and I sure like this variation of block placement.

For sure. Also probably wouldn't do any mystery quilts. I'd need to know what I was doing before buying any fabric.

If I lived in a country with those high prices, it would put the skids on my fun that's for sure! Hoo-wee!

Am hoping to get to quilting my top before the next mystery starts. Has anyone any photos ideas of how they quilted/ are going to quilt their top?

Wow -- that is a really different arrangement. I really like that piano border. I also love your colours, but I miss the stars. Just curious why you decided not to use the star pattern?

Well, I'm ready for MT 8. Scraps are sorted, but I'll probably need to resort some of the mediums into either the dark or light pile as we go along. I'll probably use a constant neutral since I don't have many neutral scraps.
