Beautiful quilt. I am in awe. Like so many others, it would be an UFO should I ever decide to attempt one.

Dot,
No wonder so many are in awe! Me too. I know I would never have the patience to keep at it so long.
Hope to see you and the quilt next week at The Maltings.

Beautiful quilt. I'm doing a Farmer's Wife for the last 4 years. I just work on it when I feel like it. I would love to do a Dear Jane, which would take me 10 years. You did a beautiful job!!

OMG this is fantastic 7 years? Wow what is average time for someone to complete a quilt?
I am just starting and spending time right now on a rag quilt for granddaughter's birthday, but also trying to
take ties apart to make a beautiful necktie quilt, I was getting discouraged because of all the steps it takes to
even get to the sewing machine. I love the sewing part, not too thrilled with the prep LOL
I just thought, at this rate, it will take me years to get this done. Now, I realize that it's ok if it takes me
forever, as long as I keep working towards the end result. :-) Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful quilt, sure was encouraging for me. :-)
