Help before I make a major mistake...if it's not too late

Sounds to me like the seam allowance is off by a hair. and so I wold check it and taking it all out and moving it is a lot more work than trimming of the bit to make them square. that will make a difference in the final size of the quilt as well. but it sounds like you are consistant all the way through so that is the good news!

I too would just square them up and work with what you have.
If you want your quilt the size of the one in the book - then you will just have to adjust your border.
Good advice was given to come back here and ask for help with the border..... your quilt will be great when finished.
Good luck

If you square up to 6.25" blocks, I think you'll have to adjust your setting triangles if you are using the on-point layout. I haven't really done much work with those triangles, so I could be wrong.

Thank you so much for all the help!!!
I trimmed all the squares to a true square, and now have 5 rows put together, complete with the triangles in the corner. So far so good. I think my moment of panic is over :)
I'll try to post a pic tomorrow, I'm really pleased with how it's coming together! I'll sleep good tonight now!
