    Sometimes a sweet simple pattern like this is all you need to make a beautiful quilt. Thanks for posting it.

    Thanks for a simple pattern that can be adapted to any size block....love it. Will use it for charity quilts for guild this year.

    I too like this pattern very much. But I like my quilts more rectangular, so I used Paint to alter the original. I added an extra row to the top and bottom.

    This is another version of the Jewel Box as I just made one as an oversized baby quilt. Mine is more scrappy as was using leftover fat quarters from 2 other baby quilts. Nice patterns to use as it can come out looking so different from the next one depending on how you arrange the blocks and/or fabrics.
