    The pattern I started with was a free insert with American Patchwork & Quilting October 2014 . It was a much larger quilt on white background and I made quite a few changes. It is a great pattern to use your scraps after you put them in colour piles. Since it so easy, you can figure it out without the pattern.
    The insert said it was designed by Emily Herrick and called Color Me Happy. She designs for her pattern company www.crazyoldladiesquilts.blogspot.com This pattern is not on the site though. I will be making this one again since it is great for either girls or boys.
