I love QUILT. I pick it up at the grocery store or pharmacy...only when the cover grabs me...have been for years.

And on a related note, I found that I had to create an Excel spreadsheet to keep up with my quilting magazine subscriptions so I wouldn't inadvertently subscribe to the same one twice, LOL! It tracks the name, number of issues, subscription date, expire date, amount paid, etc. Hopefully, I'll keep it all straight!
Eddiie, how many quilting mags to do you since getting bit by the quilting bug? I got this ad in the mail too and am signing up for it. My other sewing magzine is Threads.
I sometimes wish I had Excel, but my new computer doesn't have it.

Instead of using Excel, you can also use your word processing package. You can keep track of stuff by making a "table". If you need help, let me know. I have Microsoft Word... :D

All I did was Google QUILT magazine, got on their web site and clicked on Customer Service. Called them and told them I am in a Quilt Group online that said a lady got a slip in the mail that said she could get their magazine for $10.00 per year. I asked if I could get that offer too and she said sure you can!!!  So I ordered it for $10.00 and I didn't have to give her my credit card. I can send in a check when the billing arrives. HOW COOL IS THAT???

GIVE EM A GINGLE...800-866-2886.

Thanks for pointing this out! I got the same offer, threw it away, and after reading about it here, dug it out of the trash and subscribed. Seems like a great deal!

I let my sub expire due to expenses, no increase in my SS. . love the mag. called Quilt and they said the only way they could let me take advantage of the $10.00 offer is if I gave them the zip code and last name of someone that had received the offer OR the code on the offer card. If some one wants to share that info with me please send to my private email [email protected]. God bless and thanks

I have some of the 1982 to 92 magazines what I like about the magazine is the fact that you get alot of patterns that you can take template material and trace off from the book. Also these patterns are some of the old patterns that are coming back out in print.

This is a good idea because I am always receiving renewal notices even though my subscription doesn't expire for a long time. This way you know when you subscribed and therefore know your expiration date.

I think it should be against the law for mag to send renewal notices. My 88 year old mother has paid Readers Digest until 2021!!!

GrammaK, they used to do the same thing to my Dad - I finally put a stop to it! Your post made me chuckle - thanks.

i haven't been following all along since the beginning, but this offer was mailed out to a few areas in the country and if you didn't get it in the mail, you can't take advantage of it. you have to return the card with the code on it. the only other offer they have now is one year for about $20 and 2 years for about $35.

it's better than the newstand price, but no give-away like the $10.
