Two of My Most Valued Tools
When I started to machine embroidery and FMQ, I used these two tools: bent handled scissors and tweezers. Now I keep them at the machine and use them all the time particularly when you need to know that the bobbin thread is not getting into trouble. The tweezers will grab the bobbin thread in very close quarters when brought to the top. The scissors allow the blades to cut the bobbin thread easily as they lay flat to the project.

Yep,yep,yep! Except I use squeezers http://www.allstitch.net/product/412...-nips-1708.cfm
instead of small scissors.

I don't wish this on anyone, but I learned this from a dr. If you have to have stitches removed, they have a tweezers they use and a scissors. Hey, you paid for them. Tell them you want them. Tell them it is for your sewing. Some of us have old eyes and that stitches puller is perfect for grabbing on to that thread you got 1/16' through the eye of the sewing machine needle. And then the scissors I use for clipping threads. Just a thought! Those are a couple of my favorite tools!!!! Edie

Edie, that's because nowadays they make the set disposable versus the old days when they needed to be sterilized, you couldn't get them then. My go to are my embroidery scissors and my stiletto, of course there are usually other necessities nearby.
