Hard to say. Both are nice, but if I had to choose, I would (probably) choose nr. 1.

I really like number 2, I would leave one way on the floor and keep walking past it for a few days (if you can) then change it and do the same. Which ever way speaks to you is the way you will sew it together. good luck.

BTW I think it is beautiful

    Both are beautiful.
I have a very slight preference for #1.

When you lay the quilt on your bed, I believe you will like #1 better because the movement will be more catching. When the quilt drapes down over the sides of the bed, you will still have lots of movement on the bed. I've made several bargellos and am distressed when I loose the effect I was going for.

As I look at it again, if you choose #1, you will have a cool little arc on both sides of the bed with those dark colors. Very catching indeed!

BTW: nice job on your bargello, no matter which way you put it together!!!

I like them both but leaning slightly towards #1. I am delighted you got thru the road bumps. It does look gorgeous!!

I like them both, my preference would probably #1 if it is going to be hung, #2 if it is going on a bed this is based solely on my opinion of which would show the design off to its fullest

Number 2 for sure. Love the almost TATW look. Beautiful colours too! But ultimately, it is your decision.
