Default Sale on batting at JAF

I'm a newbie but I think this is a pretty good sale. It's Pellon Quilters Touch 100% siliconized polyester. For $29.99 you can buy a 20 yard x 60" wide roll. There's also a 15% coupon (valid today only) which worked for me plus it's free shipping. Supposedly this roll of batting is regularly $99.99.

Before purchasing I googled the batting name and found reviews of it on this very site. The reviews were mostly positive. There were also some reviews on the JAF site which were also mostly positive.

I make lap quilts for friends and family which are 60" x 44" approx. I figured I can get 16 lap quilts from this roll. For me it was a good buy. Thought you folks would like to know about it.

Here's a link.

Thanks for sharing. Ordered myself some just because it's a good deal and may not happen within the next year.

I've ordered some of this before, and it works well for me. It shipped really fast too, and I love the way it feels. Thanks for sharing.

I purchased some of this one year the day after Thanksgiving. It worked well - I used it for Quilts for Kids quilts. Can't beat that price! Thanks for posting!!

I'm glad to hear that you folks found this batting acceptable. I'm looking forward to receiving mine in the mail. I notice it's still for sale but the 15% off coupon which I used yesterday is gone now.

Thanks, just ordered some. I usually use cotton but think it will be good for placemats and bags. Will try it with the MSQ/Craftsy bag shown or Jenny's tute.

I just received my bolt of this, and this is the second time I have ordered it. It works fine for me, I like the fact that it is light. I struggle sometimes with the heavier weight quilts.
