I am so sorry for your loss. It will be 2 years this March 12 that I lost the love of my life. It's wonderful that you are quilting and sharing!

I also lost my DH last year in June. So far I have made five quilts tops, each different. One for each of our children and a string quilt for me. Now to get them quilted. I plan to FMQ them myself. Wish me luck doing it. Loved you pattern.
