Default What part of quilting do you dislike the most??

Mine is trimming selvages off the material for backing. Don't know why. Also, if I would have known how much ironing is involved, I might have thought twice about this quilting thing. The ironing doesn't bother me much any more.

Cutting is my least favorite thing. It always seems to never end and I just want to get to the sewing part. I don't mind ironing.

The part I dislike the most is loading it on the quilt frame.

Everything between the finished top and the binding. I don't mind binding because it means I'm almost done. But I hate basting and quilting. For this reason I hope to one day have a long arm.

I don't like the ironing part. I have gotten used to it, but I don't like it. I also am not found of winding a bobbin. It seems silly to say that, as it sure doesn't take any time, but I sure put that off. Yeah....I know, I could buy pre wound bobbins, but I am too stubborn to do that.... Gotta have something to complain about!

Lol, I love the ironing! How about I do all of your ironing and you put on my bindings. I envision a great partnership!

I don't dislike the quilting part but I have not got the FMQ very good yet.

The final assembly of the top as I am joining the rows. It gets bigger and bigger and harder to maneuver and harder to press. I find when I get to this part, it goes real slow because I it isn't as fun.

I dislike sandwiching and the rest, until the binding. I love to do binding.
