What a gorgeous quilt, and as someone said before, your gift was made to an often overlooked group. My favorite places to visit while I served on our local ARC board were the adult residential homes. The group of men I visited most often were older adults who had typically outlived loving parents. They would so appreciate something made by loving hands. I'll have to keep that idea in mind for donated quilts.

Absolutely beautiful blocks!! You may need to make one for each resident. You did a magnificent job on the emb. roses. The other fabric goes so well with the blocks!! I don't have an emb. machine, but your roses sure makes me want to run out and get one. Love this quilt. Thanks for sharing and giving to a wonderful cause. My quilting group's community project this year is fleece lap quilts for the Veteran's home in a nearby town. Most of us have made two each. wonderful project also, but not nearly as pretty as yours.

Anael your quilt is exquisite, I love the embroidered roses, they are so delicate. I am sure you will be making a couple more quilts for your special friends. It is so heartwarming to know that people care for our less fortunate.

Thank you all again!
My special friends are so great, each in his/her own way. I always enjoy being there and I hope my quilts will put a smile on their faces.
