Beauties. I like how the black one has the old-style bobbin winder assembly.

Both are in such good shape. You've done an excellent job cleaning them up.

I haven't had to do much cleaning, just oil and wipe down. tiny spots of rust here and there. guessing that 18 out of the 25 machines where clean and usable 25/30 years ago, Then just sat there.

you should see the japanese clones I got, there new !! 50 years ago, but just sat.

How fun. I like the black one the best, too. How do they sew? Which one makes the nicest stitch?

as far as sewing all I have done with either is just a few test. to make sure they do sew. They seem to do ok. The black one is the best or I may just like it's looks better. you know how that goes.

They should have added a bit more bling to pinkie. Thinking add some 1970's hippy flowers to it LOL

Ooooooooo, I love them. Especially the black one--do I understand you, that you bought a whole bunch of old sewing machines, and these are only two that you are showing off for us????? I love that black one.

I saw a thread by CD, He has the very same machine as The black one, in fact two , Those both have different names. He said they both have a broken gear that runs the ZZ

mainly I bought the black one to take a photo. using a pfaff 130, necchi Bu and that one

I just bought a teal and cream Morse today that looks exactly like your black Universal. I need to find a manual or any information so I can fix the tension spring, wind the bobbin, and thread the machine lol. Would you have model, number, etc. information on the Universal that would help me in locating one?
