Thank you so much! Our dog chewed the edges of a quilt my sister-in-law made and I need to do something with the remains! This has some great ideas!

Generations ago a worn out quilt was used as the batting for a newer quilt.

Several years ago a friends mother-in-law passed and left an old, ragged quilt that she had used in the nursing home. All the DD's, DDIL's, and DGD's all wanted the quilt. I made each of them a teddy bear out of the old, ragged quilt, it turned out to be a well loved and used teddy bear and made all of them happy as they felt they had a piece of grandma to love and remember.

My cousin just gave me several old quilts and I was wondering what to do with them as they are very worn.

I see a teddy bear and pillows in their future.
