I would go looking for an owl pattern and then it wouldn't be too hard to make something similar.

The center of the quilt is VERY similar to a McCall's pattern M6482. You may want to check it out. There are several of these patterns on E-bay. Hope this may help.

This is something I did last year. They are close. There should be bunches of inspiration online. Maybe you could try kids coloring pages.

There is a similar one of Craftsy. It is called Owl You Need Is Love. pricey but really cute. It is on my wishlist.
