I received my mug rug today from sewbiz today. I love it my destination was Australia. She also sent me some hot chocolate which I love. I love the color purple and she sent me some I think 5 in. squares, different shades of purple. She also made me a matching mug cozy.

Yay! My partner, Theifner, got her package from me and was happy! I'm waiting to see if she wants to post photos... if not I will post the ones I took.

What the heck... I'll go ahead and post photos!

First let me tell you that I waited to find out Theifner's dream destination... and she said she has always wanted to go to Australia and/or Alaska. She also mentioned that she didn't like animals on anything. So I had some dilemma trying to figure out how to show Alaska or Australia without their well-known animals! I went shopping looking for fabric that looked like Aboriginal artwork, and was lucky enough to find the two I used in my swap. Hope you like it! Theifner sent me a nice pm and said she did!

The last picture is the sneak peek I posted earlier, so you can see how it all went together.

I received my mug rug today from LJDougas and it's just beautiful! Her destination that she chose was a flower garden and I can see why, the applique sunflowers are so pretty! The mug rug is such a nice size, I can put a cup and plate on it and still enjoy looking at the embroidery. She also included an angel pin with crocheted lace and a antique button, they too are just beautiful. Thank you Linda for such a nice mug rug package!

Hi, all! Yes, I do work full-time, but they send me home eventually!

Lynnie & I sent each other to surprise destinations. I sent Lynnie & her hubby to romantic Paris:

And here's the entire package, as Lynnie described:

This was definitely a fun swap!

And Lynnie sent me to Eqypt:

Isn't it wonderful? What's more perfect than a mug rug that represents a place where cats were once worshipped???

Lynnie also sent a bunch of amazing goodies! She made me one of her famous (infamous??) needle cases, which I was secretly hoping would happen one day! Also, a pincushion, a pair of green flip-flops she made for me (& in my favorite color), two lovely crocheted dishcloths, 2 pens, 2 chocolate bars & 2 wonderful notes! Here's a photo of the entire package:

Thank you so much, Lynnie! A super swap package, for sure! We can swap again any time!

(Now, where did I put those tickets to Egypt???)
