Very interesting thread I love the guitar neck to hold the wall hanging and very appropriate for that quilt. There are a lot of great ideas. I once made a round wall hanging that I made a hanger sleeve then sewed it to the back of the wall hanging so it hung be a hanger. Did not show from the front and the circle hung very nicely.

When my grandson was born, I made him a colorful lone star. I put sleeves on all four edges, inserted picture framing and it was hung flush with the ceiling over his crib.

I just stick pins through my quilts and into the sheetrock. I really need to step up my game.

Hey Shirl no pattern I looked at pictures cand sort of eyeballed everything. Drew on 8 x 11 paper first then enlarged the elements until I liked it. I am a lousy artist so it doesnt take a lot of drawing ability to do. I could try to draft something for you if you are interested. You can pm me.

I have a friend who is on the ski patrol. I made her a quilt with skiers on it, and told her to hang it on a ski pole. It looks great!
