Having lived in the southwest for many years ( Az, and NM) it is most definitely southwestern. The tourquoise that you see in the jewelry and the sand and shadows on the desert. The only thing missing is sitting on the front porch to watch the beautiful sunset of purples, pinks, and oranges. Great job, is it quilt as you go?

That is going to be beautiful when you get it done. I'll be watching with the quilt inspector.

Beautiful quilt. I love your color selection. And, your fur baby is a handsome little guy.

Thanks! No, it isn't quilt as you go. I have not tried that yet....maybe someday.

It's very pretty, love the colors. I always look forward to seeing Hot Rod as much as your quilts! LOL! He just reminds me sooo much of a cat I used to have. I'm definitely gonna try a bargello someday, have done trip around the world using Bonnie at quiltvilles strip piecing method, so I know it's a lot like doing those except cutting the strip sets different widths.
