Seems very left brained, doesn't it?
Someone told me a few years ago that there was some study that though there are 2 'brain use' activities, there is also a left/right brain blend. This made sense to me because I grew up not quite fitting the usual left brain/right brain/ way of thinking.
I was very creative, yet I did quite well in math/physics/science in school.
I did a little (very little) research and found that I'm not so weird after all, they are now saying the 2 sides are connected

Loved this. I have lots of scraps, and it's time to cut it up into strips and do something like this.

Thank you for the reminder. Back in 1998 (I think) I worked with a group of ladies, some of whom had never sewn before. We used this method to put together a Trip Around the World quilt to be raffled off for Relay for Life Cancer fund. I had forgotten about it and I can't remember from what book I got the information.

Thanks for sharing! She uses same idea as Bonnie Hunter at www.quiltville.com. Works great for putting together scrappy fabrics.
