Default Counted Cross Stitch Christmas Stockings

Other than quilting my other passion is counted cross stitch. About 26 years ago I started what has become a tradition in my family- a counted cross stitch Christmas stocking for each member. These are some that I have completed so far. One for hubby, two sons, two daughter in laws, five grandkids.

Oops, did not get a picture for oldest granddaughters, so will have to go back.

Those are great. Many of us have given up X-stitch because of getting old with our eyes.

I understand completely. I have a kit for one, purchased a long time ago, but have not even opened the kit. Wonder if I will live long enough to do it, would have to have another 50+ years added to my 66. (VBG)

Yes, that is happening with me also. I now only work on them in daylight hours. Seems to be easier to see than at night.
