my husband is always amazed by the many quilters and how popular quilting is but he would have no idea who Jenny Doan is. LOL

I have a husband like yours. Mine has an eye for fabric. I would never have dreamed that in retirement we would be sharing his interest. He recently went with my to a quilt show. Of course the place was bombarded by women. Most of the men there were looking like they were bored silly. Not my husband. He totally enjoyed every minute of it. It's great to be supported in this hobby. I'm sure most husbands do, but most from a distance. We recently visited Hamilton also. What a great experience.

My husband always finds some one to talk to in fabric stores and quilt shops. He comes up with ideas of things for me to sew for him. Our youngest son is following in our footsteps. He called me from Hobby Lobby to ask how much material to buy for a project he planned to sew.

Oh what a great husband! My girlfriend is going to Missouri Star Quilting shops today. She called me about an hour ago to tell me where she was. She is really a talker and it would be the cherry on top of the sundae if she gets to see Jenny.

Have to say, my hubby slept when we went there. In his defense, he worked the night before. He also told me to spend whatever I needed to because I was buying fabric for my mom's quilt. So I bought lots of yardage only to go with a pattern that uses just an 8.5 inch square from 80 or so different fabrics. Poor planning on my part - I totally admit that.

I did talk with jenny. What a great person - hoping to get back there this summer to hit more than 1 of her stores.
