MSQC has a tutorial on HSTs using Charm packs to make a cute top called "Mini Love Notes." It's the same as "You've Got Mail" only smaller. Just use a white on white or white on cream tonal for the background and it will be darling.

I think sewing it up like you have it laid out in the top picture looks amazing. Get a solid or find some creams in your stash, leave them as squares, and fill in those gaps. Nice fabric.

I'm seeing a sunset over the ocean or, conversely, a beautiful blue
sky over a sun-drenched prairie.

They are really pretty. Maybe do a rainbow quilt of some kind. You could do HST with white or cream stars of different colors. Would be pretty no matter what you do with them. They are so summery and pretty! Have fun and keep us posted on what you decide to do.

I am on Hancock's list so they send me email...this was years ago and such a deal. Normally I don't buy like this but this was a total steal. I think there are 50 squares in each set and I bought 3 or four sets.

I love all the ideas and will go check those out.

Ok I looked at some charm quilts. I also checked out BB and found, Sister's Choice, in the star section. I wanted to use the squares just the way they were and I will use a cream for the star points. I will eliminate some parts of the star for a solid color, will post when I get a block done.

This is what I did with 5" squares. I think it was a free pattern on the Moda web site.

I'm with ahawk. I think what is on the board looks great. Very modern. love the random arrangement with just negative space around the colors

Seems like you have a lot of designer fabrics, KF and many others, lovely blocks, how about a color wash type quilt. Would also just be lovely as mixed patches. Lucky you.

I was thinking that, too. You could use white in two of your four patch squares to make the colors pop.
