Yes these pictures were all taken before the binding I have since quilted them on my longarm and then trimmed them all up so the edges are smooth. When I was working I didn't have a lot of time so many samples were done as tops only and now am able to get to all the quilting of some of them done. Be sure and post pictures of yours. Love seeing all the beautiful different looks with different fabrics. Love the idea of topstitching the 3-8" from edge, neat idea.

Whoa! Those are gorgeous. I want to figure out how to do this. I think my sister has the rulers but neither one of us has ever taken the time to make one.

I'll bet if these were turned top to bottom they would make a great sea horse pattern, imagine these in batiks with embellishments!

OK. I have never seen this! What do you call this kind of pattern/block? I think they are just stunning and would love to give one a try! I'm still a new sewer/quilter so it looks hard but maybe something I could work up to doing one day. Yours all came out so very pretty!
