Sheri, you will need to post pics of your finished project (2 /2"), please. you come up with some neat projects.
I think I received one of Peg's tea holders. Or one like it. It really is cute.

I made a quick mini from candy I sent out in my candy swap. I got the set while I was in Florida watching my daughter golf in May. It measures 15.5" square. The 9 patches have 1-1/8" each tiny piece and are a good 2.5" to match the candy around them. The extra I put in the border. Not sure I like the dark binding, but it had some great teal swirls in it and brought out alittle black in the flamingos..... I pulled every color I could from the flamingo print when I was collecting FQ's. Black too lol.

It's been a while since I've posted. June has been a crazy month. We had family come for a visit, which means they stay in our guest room aka living room aka sewing room. (We live in a small 2 bedroom with 2 kids). When family left, my husband went on a business trip - leaving me to solo parent my 1 and 3 year old. Usually my 3 year old goes to preschool part time but they are out for the summer. Plus, we have no family near us. So it was just me with the boys. Then, when my husband got back to town, we went on a one night tent camping trip to see how things would go. We have gone camping with our eldest son before his brother came but never both kids before. Overall, the trip went well but I am glad it was short. I haven't had much time to sew but hoping to find some time week as things get back to normal.
