Hi Gal,
We're getting quite a few quilters here in the Tucson area.
Several other members of this forum and I are looking forward
to Tucson's big quilt show in late January. Would love to have you join us.
If interested, please contact me at: [email protected] and we can swap phone numbers and talk.

This is so much fun and YES I am going to the Quilt Fiesta..woohoo!! I plan to attend Friday & Saturday (all day) and if I don't see everything or get everything I think I need...LoL, then I'll go Sunday too!
I go on Fridays to peruse the vendors mainly and usually start at Quilt #1 and work my way around. I always take my camera- even thou I order the CD every year - 'cause if there's something that catches my eye I want close-ups.
Where should we meet? Oh, I always make a point to lunch at El Minuto if anyone is interested :)
I'll send you both a PM with my phone number; let's make it a Quilty date :-D
I'm actually feeling 'giddy' like a kid ...this will be so much fun to meet more quilters, some even on my side of town...

If I'm not doing anything ~ Saturday is usually my DH day, he works the rest of the week and Saturday we do bkfst and then running around.
Quilt Basket is about 7 minutes from my house. If I'm done by 10 a.m. I'll be sure to stop on in.
I have to go to Quilter's Market Saturday (sometime) to speak with the instructor for a class I signed up for; who knows I may just make it over to Quilt Basket if timing is right!
Are you going to the quilt show, as well?
It would be fun if we could get all the "Zonies" to meet, from this board, at the show. I've got the camera and definitely could take pictures to post here ... so much fun !!!
Please send me an email [email protected] and we can swap phone numbers.

Hi Paula,
Sounds great! I'd love to eat at El Minuto. Have heard so much
about it, but we seldom eat in the downtown area. That would make two reasons to go.
I like your systematic approach. It's how I like to view show booths/exhibits.
Look forward to getting your PM.

My father was the mailman downtown, when I was growing up, so I have a special fondness for that area in particular. It holds a lot of fun memories - like going to work with my dad (before there was such a thing as 'take your kid to work day') and for lunch we'd always stop at El Minuto. Beside that, it's a great place for photography and that's my second love ;)
Talk to you soon!
