    My favorite is a Sampler Quilt with each and every block different and a meaning for each block. My very best favorite, however, is Floating Stars (Quilter's Cache) - very simple, very easy, very beautiful (lots of fun). Optical Illusion to the max! Edie

    I like patterns that make a secondary design when completed. It adds so much interest and wonder to the quilt.

    This is such a good topic. I wasn't familiar with the blooming nine patch, and now I can't wait to try one!

    I really enjoyed making this pattern called Rear Window by Blue Underground Studios. Figuring out the pairings of frames with rectangles and of the 4-patch block fabrics is my favorite sort of quilting activity.
