The Blue Angels are flying at Pensacola Beach today so traffic thru my town is at a standstill. So, I am quilting all day. Yeah! I'm working on a 30's inspired quilt.

I have 16 blocks left to make for a quilt requiring 120 so I want to get them done today so I can start putting the quilt together. I see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Not quilting today... I need a swimsuit cover up for the Y so that's my project for the day. Then clean the sewing room.

I just got a large quilt pinned and if I can figure out my tension issue with FMQ I'm going to start quilting it. I have another couple of projects going also but one needs backing (which I don't have yet) and I have to look at my batting scraps to see if I can piece together enough for the next step also. The other project is an EPP/embroidery wallhanging and I'm kind of stuck with what to do next. I might need to go shopping for more fabric before I can proceed

Instead of quilting, today I'll be sewing some neck coolers, for a soldier I 'adopted' through Adopt A Platoon.

I seem to have hit a 'quilting slump' so am hoping this will help get me back to my machine.
