Jackie, there were 121 blocks and I quilted around the outlines of the pieces (not all-over like machine quilting). It got where it was taking about 20 mins per block so over 40 hours. Instead of showy quilting I really tried to conceal the stitching on the top. It was my first time to hand quilt. Thanks.

In all my years of quilting I've never done an attic window block. Your quilt makes me want to start one today !! Just beautiful quilt. Wish we could see your handquilting up closer! Inspiring quilt!

Beautiful quilt, an Attic Window quilt is on my (very long) todo list. How many different fabrics are in the quilt?

Your quilt is very nice, you have made excellent use of a simple pattern Attic Windows, with its straight horizontal and vertical lines, to showcase a wide range of fabrics with their swirls and flowers and curvy lines in the prints. I've been collecting my B 'n W fabrics for several years... I could never quite decide which blocks would best serve to show off the fabrics and not "compete" with the purity of the black and white. By golly, YOU have accomplished it !!! Congratulations !!!
