Default Benjamin Biggs Wedding Quilt BOM

Is anyone doing the Benjamin Biggs quilt? I just discovered it. Apparently two sites/people are working together to offer the blocks. Dearjane and Sentimentalstitches. They alternate which site provides the free block of the month. I just got block 5 from the dearjane site.

I have been following it. It is a2 year project. Some of the blocks I like, some not so sure of. I am printing it out. After I see what some of the others have done, I may get into it.

Be sure there are no mistakes in the designs. With the Takes 2 there were lots of mistakes!

I'm working on it but not in traditional colors. It's not the only one I'm working on so of course I'm behind. Felt good to at last finish the 1st block.

I just googled it. Looks like a nice applique quilt.

No questions yet, but thanks. Not sure when I can start it because I'm working on a Dear Jane quilt, but it looks like a reallly nice applique quilt.

If anyone would like to post pictures of the blocks you've done I would love to see them.

I am doing the Benjamin Biggs Quilt and I am on Block 11. Moving at my on pace. I have back basted all of the blocks so far and have had no trouble. The patterns are excellent. I have all my block on Pinterest under Benjamin Biggs Wedding Quilt by Pat Martin. I am in love with his quilt and the journey. Come on Ladies get going!
