Thanks for the compliments.
The pattern is simply a free coloring book page I found on the internet. I sent it to Staples to enlarge to about 2 feet by 3 feet and made 2 copies. I traced one copy with a sharpie so I could see it on the back and numbered each piece.
I then traced each piece on fusible web leaving extra where it needed to bigger and tucked under other pieces. I ironed the fusible to the fabric and cut each piece out. Then, like a jigsaw puzzle I pieced it all back together. I use a teflon ironing sheet with the pattern under it to help me line it up. It peels up and I move on to another section. All of that is ironed onto the background.
I custom quilt it on my longarm to hold it all down.
